Can a human being harm another through the jinn, and what is the way out of this?

The jinn possessing a human is a known and real phenomenon, often occurring due to a person's negligence in reciting adhkar (remembrances) and prophetic protections. To remedy this, one must observe the obligatory and supererogatory prayers, increase in the remembrance of Allah, and recite Surat Al-Baqarah daily. It is also permissible for the afflicted person to seek ruqyah (exorcism) from righteous individuals, while believing that healing is in Allah's hands. If the threat persists, the matter can be taken to court.
