How can one deal with the recurring annoyance of the husband's friend messaging and calling at late hours, and what is the advice to avoid the marital problems resulting from that?

Allah Almighty has legislated affection and mercy for spouses to achieve their happiness. The husband should treat his wife with kindness and avoid whatever displeases her, for he is the best of people to his family. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, also enjoined kindness towards women. The Prophet clarified that the Lord, the self, and the family all have rights, and each rightful owner must be given their due. The husband must ensure his wife's chastity and have conjugal relations with her in a proper manner. The wife must fulfill her husband's rights, be patient with him, treat him kindly, and ward off his harm with that which is better, because the husband is either his wife's paradise or her hellfire.
