Is it permissible to keep daughters away from their in-laws, limiting visits to just one per month, due to the harm inflicted upon them by the in-laws, such as denigrating their family, expressing hatred for their mother, and teaching them negative traits like egoism, self-love, and ill manners?

Part of being faithful to one's husband is to be faithful to his family. When problems arise between the husband's family and the wife, efforts should be made to remove the causes of misunderstanding, and daughters should not be involved in these issues. Enduring their harm and responding to ill-treatment with kindness is better, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If you are as you say, then it is as if you are feeding them hot ash, and you will continue to have a supporter from Allah against them as long as you remain so." If you are unable to endure their harm, then do not visit them, but do not deprive your daughters of connecting with their kin unless there is a fear of religious discord.
