Is it permissible to designate a specific time for daily Quran recitation after prayers, and suffice with reading two pages of it?

A Muslim should adopt a daily portion (wird) of the' Qur'an to maintain a constant connection with the Book of Allah Almighty. This is a practice of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and of the righteous. A Muslim should read whatever is easy for him from the Qur'an, whether it is a part (juz'), more, or less. The more he reads, the better it is, due to the healing, guidance, and mercy found in the Qur'an, and because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will have a good deed thereby." A Muslim should not believe that a specific time has a special virtue unless there is religious evidence for it; otherwise, it would be considered an innovated addition (bid'ah idafiyyah). The Salaf (pious predecessors) used to divide and apportion the Qur'an over the days of the week. The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are continuous, even if they are few.
