Does sin befall the father who refuses to marry his daughter to a Muslim young man who has no job? And what is the evidence for that?

The criteria for acceptance and rejection in marriage are religiosity and good character, as stated in the Hadith. Therefore, the guardian of the girl should marry her to a righteous man who will help her in goodness and piety, and raise the family in an Islamic manner. Among the rights of the wife is maintenance in a reasonable manner. If the suitor is religious, intelligent, trustworthy, and has what suffices for maintenance, he should not be rejected, even if he does not have a job.
