Is it permissible for a woman afflicted with chronic flatulence to perform ablution (wudu') at home and leave with it for Eid prayers or any other place, then pray in the mosque with the ablution performed at home if she is compelled to do so, or to perform tayammum (dry ablution) in the mosque so as not to miss the prayer? And can she perform tayammum for prayer at work, or pray with the ablution performed at home, knowing that she cannot perform ablution there and fears missing the prayer time?

If flatulence is almost constant, it is considered incontinence, and one must perform ablution for each prayer when its time begins, and anything that is emitted afterward does not matter. However, if it is not constant, then ablution is required for each prayer, and it must be repeated if flatulence occurs.

The time for Eid prayer begins when the sun has risen to the height of a spear (approximately 15 minutes after sunrise) and ends at zawal (midday). Its time is like the time for Duha prayer. A person with an excuse must perform ablution for Eid prayer after its time has begun, and not before it. If he misses the prayer with the Imam, he may perform it individually as a make-up.

Tayammum (dry ablution) is only permissible when one is unable to use water due to illness, or fear of certain harm, or lack of water, or inability to access it. Unless there is a necessity, ablution with water is obligatory. Water can be carried to work for ablution to avoid the illusion of hardship.
