How can Paradise be of the absolute unseen when all the angels of heaven know the destinies of humans, and how can the angels of mercy and torment dispute over the fate of the killer of a hundred souls, when they know from the previous hadith whom Allah loves or hates?

Entry into Paradise is a matter of the Unseen, not to be definitively determined by a vision or inspiration. Nor does the Hadith "If Allah loves a servant" indicate permanent love or hatred. Allah's love, hatred, pleasure, and wrath are attributes related to His will, exalted be He. He loves the servant if he believes and does righteous deeds, and He hates him if he disbelieves and does unrighteous deeds.

Contrary to the view of the Kilabiyyah and those who followed them, who held that faith is what a person dies upon, and that Allah's love and hatred relate only to one's final state, the majority of scholars believe that Allah's love, pleasure, hatred, and wrath are tied to the servant's current condition. Allah loves the servant if he believes, and He hates him if he disbelieves. Based on this, there is no problem in Allah hating the killer of one hundred souls before his repentance, and then loving him afterward.
