Is a private meeting considered unlawful (haram) if a female student is alone with a non-mahram driver in the bus on the way to and from the Quran memorization center?

The fatwas of the scholars have consistently affirmed the prohibition of a driver being alone with a non-mahram woman due to the resulting harms, and due to the severe prohibition of a man being alone with a woman who is not permissible for him, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "No man is alone with a woman but Satan is the third of them."

Scholars believe that it is not permissible for a woman to ride with a driver who is not her mahram unless there is a mahram with her, or more than one woman, or another man with her. This removes the prohibited seclusion, provided that Islamic manners are adhered to.

As for travel, it is not permissible for a woman to travel except with a mahram, whether the travel is by land, air, or sea.
