What must a father do to absolve himself before Allah the Almighty, if his adult daughter refuses to adhere to Islamic dress, despite his exhaustion of all means to convince her?

A father must command his sons and daughters to adhere to Allah's obligations because he is responsible for them. He must strive to ensure his daughter wears the legal hijab, and he is not permitted to allow her to go out displaying her adornments. He may hit her if she does not comply, unless there is harm in doing so. He should also supplicate for his daughter's guidance.
