Is what I did by performing Ruqyah sufficient for the child's recovery from the evil eye, taking into consideration that I am abroad and far from him?

Firstly, one should give the patient water from Zamzam to drink and wash some of their limbs with it, based on the hadith: "Zamzam water is for what it is drunk for." Some of the Salaf used it for healing with the Quran. If an evil eye affliction is confirmed, the person who cast the evil eye should perform ghusl or wudu, or wash their limbs in a vessel, and then pour the water from that washing over the afflicted person. This ghusl becomes obligatory if there is fear of death and no other remedy is available. If the person who cast the evil eye is far away, they can recite ruqyah over water and send it to the afflicted person.
