The answer

Your patience with your husband regarding his love for isolation and his weakness in expressing feelings of love makes you rewarded and preserves the stability of the family. Feelings of love and affection are not a condition for the stability of marital life. Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "Are houses built only on love? Where then is care and where is responsibility?" He also said: "Not all houses are built on love, but rather on companionship based on lineage and Islam." These feelings can be developed over time through good companionship, showing affection, and striving to enrich feelings of love, while seeking help from Allah and supplicating to Him.
