What is the degree of authenticity of the Hākim’s Hadith, in which it was stated: "I have left among you two things, after which you will not go astray: the Book of Allah and my Sunnah, and they will not separate until they come to me at the Hawḍ (Fountain)," especially since its meaning is consistent with the evidence for the obligation of adhering to the Book and the Sunnah?

The aforementioned Hadith was authenticated by Al-Hakim, Ibn Hazm, and Al-Albani. It indicates that the two revelations (the Book and the Sunnah) are inseparable in terms of their authority; therefore, acting upon one without the other is unacceptable. What the Messenger has forbidden is like what Allah has forbidden. Whoever contents himself with the Book of Allah without the Sunnah is misguided. They are two fundamental sources indispensable for guidance and infallibility.
