What is the solution when children look at neighbors' homes from the windows?

Parents are responsible for teaching their children good morals and preventing them from harming neighbors by looking into their homes. Scholars have differed on the ruling concerning opening a window that overlooks a neighbor's house. Some have deemed it permissible, while others have deemed it impermissible. Some have made it obligatory to install a screen that prevents looking, and if the two neighbors are of equal standing, they should share the cost of the screen. The Malikis and some Hanafis are of the opinion that it is obligatory to close a niche or a door that directly overlooks a neighbor if it is new. The Shafi'is believe that it is permissible to open niches as long as they do not lead to harming the neighbor.
