What is the purpose of our creation, and does God need our worship, and what is the wisdom behind that? And how can we respond to Friedrich Nietzsche's statement: "It is unreasonable for the Creator to give you a set of instincts and aspirations and at the same time issue commands forbidding them in life, only to give them to you again after death"?

Allah the Almighty is self-sufficient, having no need of our worship, while we are in need of Him. Thus, the benefit of righteous deeds redounds to the servant, and the harm of sins recoils upon their perpetrator. The assertion that Allah has forbidden people from responding to their instincts is false. Rather, Allah has regulated their lives in a way that achieves benefits and removes harms. So, He permitted marriage and forbade fornication due to the corruption it causes; He permitted ownership and earning according to the system of the Sharia and forbade usury and aggression; and He permitted eating and drinking and forbade all evil and harmful things due to the damage they inflict. A Muslim should focus on the texts of revelation and distance themselves from the doubts spread by people of deviation.
