Is it permissible to recite the Qur’an on behalf of an illiterate person who does not know how to read the Qur’an?

Reciting the Quran is among the best acts of worship. Whoever recites one letter will receive a good deed multiplied by ten, and the Quran will intercede for its companions. As for reciting the Quran on behalf of someone who cannot read and dedicating the reward of the recitation to them, there is no harm in that.
