Is there an explanation in Islam for the relationship between the soul to the body?

The soul has five types of attachment to the body: its attachment to it as an embryo in the mother's womb, then after birth, then during sleep, then in Barzakh, where it returns to it upon the greeting of one who offers salutations—a special return that does not necessitate a complete life for the body—and finally, its attachment to it on the Day of Resurrection, which is the most complete type of attachment, as the body will thereafter not accept death or sleep. The deceased, upon the return of their soul to them, is in an intermediate state between fully alive and fully dead, exactly like the state of a sleeper.
