The answer

There is no evidence to prove intercession for those who die after the age of eighty. However, it is hoped that the intercession of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, will include whoever dies upon monotheism, for he said: "And I have stored up my supplication as intercession for my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection, and it will reach, Allah willing, whoever dies from my Ummah not associating anything with Allah." There are weak hadiths regarding the virtue of a long life, among them: "And when he reaches eighty, Allah erases his sins and records good deeds for him."
