Is it permissible for a woman who borrowed for Hajj to borrow for the price of the sacrifice (hady), or should she fast the days of Tashreeq and seven days after her return? And what should she do if she falls ill, or her menstrual period begins, or fasting becomes difficult for her? And is it valid to borrow for the sacrifice (hady) in Hajj if fasting is impossible or its days are incomplete?

The pilgrim performing Tamattu' Hajj who cannot find a sacrificial animal (hady) must fast three days during Hajj and seven days upon returning to his homeland. He is not obligated to borrow money to purchase the hady. If he misses fasting the three days during Hajj due to an excuse, he must make them up as ten days. There is no requirement for consecutive fasting for these days, nor for separating the three from the seven; however, it is recommended to separate them. The three days are to be fasted after assuming ihram for 'Umrah and before the Day of Sacrifice (Yawm al-Nahr). It is permissible to fast them during the days of Tashreeq for those who cannot find a hady.
