Is it permissible for a woman to leave her four-month-old son with her mother or sister under the pretext of work, and is it permissible for her to do so while disobeying her husband, who orders her to take care of the children and the home before her work?

A woman is not permitted to leave her home without her husband's permission, unless she stipulated in the marriage contract that she would work outside the home. In that case, the husband is bound by this condition, provided the work does not contradict Islamic law or harm the family. If the husband permits his wife to go out for a permissible job, then there is no harm in leaving her young child with her mother, her sister, or in any other safe place.
