If the families of the bride and groom are keen to avoid any vice or extravagance, does the condition of avoiding indecency and nudity also include the female guests, and are the bride and groom sinful if the female guests do not adhere to modest dress?

It is permissible to hire a 'ṭaqqāqah' (female drummer/singer) for a wedding if she limits herself to playing the daf (frame drum) and performing clean singing, provided that it is free from forbidden acts such as the use of prohibited musical instruments, vulgar singing, nudity, and mixing (between sexes). The wedding hosts and the invited women must adhere to the Islamic regulations regarding dress and celebration. Those attending the wedding must enjoin good and forbid evil. If the presence of the 'ṭaqqāqah' leads to a forbidden act that cannot be prevented, then she should not be hired.
