Is it permissible to use the term "sperm" (حيوان منوي) to refer to the "nutfa" (نطفة) which is the origin of man as it is named in the Holy Quran, and is there any Quranic text or Sunnah that permits this usage?

The term "sperm" is not mentioned in the Qur’an or Sunnah; rather, the terms "nutfa" (drop) or "mani" (seminal fluid) are used. Modern science has discovered that seminal fluid contains millions of microscopic organisms called "sperms," which cannot be seen with the naked eye. There is no objection to using this term.
