How can the Hadiths that prohibit land leasing be reconciled with those that permit it?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade the renting of land in certain forms. This prohibition was understood to apply to renting land for a portion of its produce, which could lead to disputes and discord, or to gharar (excessive uncertainty). Thus, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade such practices. However, renting it for gold and silver (for a known and guaranteed sum of money) is permissible.
