What is the ruling on making up missed prayers if one is uncertain about the cessation of blood or yellowish-brown discharge before the usual time of purity?

The area of purity should be inspected when its possibility arises, before the prayer time expires. If a woman becomes pure, she should perform ghusl and pray. As for what has passed, there is no need to make up the prayers whose obligation to make up is doubtful, because the original state is the continuation of menstruation. The absence of blood on clothes is not sufficient; rather, the area of blood must be inspected with a cotton swab.
