How are the rights of the wronged settled by the oppressor who has repented in this world and whose sins Allah has expiated, and does this happen by increasing the good deeds of the wronged, or by recompensing them in this world or the Hereafter?

If an oppressor repents with a sincere repentance that fulfills its conditions, Allah will accept his repentance and replace his evil deeds with good ones. Among the conditions for the validity and acceptance of repentance is the restitution of injustices and the fulfillment of people's rights. If a servant does not fulfill these rights in this world, Allah Almighty will take them from his good deeds on the Day of Resurrection. If he has no good deeds, then some of their evil deeds will be taken and cast upon him, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The bankrupt person from my Ummah is one who comes on the Day of Resurrection with prayer, fasting, and zakat... but he comes having abused this person, slandered that person, consumed the wealth of this person, shed the blood of that person, and beaten this person. So, this person will be given from his good deeds, and that person will be given from his good deeds. If his good deeds are exhausted before he has settled what he owes, then some of their sins will be taken and cast upon him, and then he will be cast into the Fire."
