Does Allah prefer the color white, and is there a Quranic verse to support this statement?
"A moderate white color is better than others. This is indicated by Allah Almighty's description of the Houris and the lads in Paradise with this color, saying: 'As if they were hidden pearls,' and 'As if they were pearls preserved within their shells.' He also described the faces of the believers as white on the Day of Resurrection, saying: 'On the Day when some faces will turn white and some faces will turn black.' This whiteness is for the believer, even if their skin color was black in this world, and it is a sign of beauty and handsomeness. It is not permissible for one who has been blessed with it to disdain others. The Sunnah also favors white in clothing, as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Wear white clothes, for they are your best clothes, and shroud your dead in them.'"
