Is a person considered an apostate (kafir), in a way that expels him from the fold of Islam, due to neglecting prayer for seven months? And what must he do to renew his faith? And what is the Sharia ruling on intermittent urinary incontinence, and how can it be dealt with?

Abandoning prayer is an act of disbelief (kufr) that expels one from the fold of Islam, and a Muslim is not excused for abandoning prayer under any circumstances. If a sick person is unable to move, he must intend by his heart the takbir, recitation, bowing, and prostration. There is no make-up (qada’) for one who missed prayers due to an illness that caused loss of consciousness. As for one whose mind is sound, it is not permissible for him to delay prayers. As for the feeling of urine drops exiting after ablution, this is from the whispers of Satan, and ablution does not need to be repeated. One should not pay attention to this feeling and consider the ablution valid. As for clearing the throat, walking, and pressing on the private parts after urination, thinking that something will exit, this is an innovation (bid‘ah). Standing urine does not need to be expelled, neither with a stone nor a finger, rather, every time it is expelled, more will come. One who suffers from urinary incontinence performs ablution for each prayer and prays, and he is not required to make up for missed prayers; repentance and maintaining prayers are sufficient for him.
