Is the birth of a female considered a trial, and what are the proofs for that from the Qur’an and Sunnah?

"This worldly life is a test, with both good and evil. Among its greatest trials are children and wealth. Allah bestows upon whomever He wills male or female children, or both, and He makes whomever He wills barren. Disliking daughters is blameworthy in Islamic law. Islamic law encourages the care, honor, kindness, and patience towards daughters, for they are a shield and a barrier from the Fire. It has been mentioned that their existence is a trial due to the potential for shame, evil, and temptations that may arise from them, and that their rights are emphasized due to their general weakness."
