Do the souls of the dead meet and interact with each other in the grave?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

The souls of believers meet after death, conversing and asking each other about the state of those they left behind in the world. The deeds of their living relatives are presented to them; they rejoice at good news and supplicate for guidance for those who are remiss, as stated in the Hadith narrated by Anas ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him. There is no evidence that a deceased person who is in bliss sees another who is in torment, and researching this matter is not very beneficial.
