What is the ruling on watching action films that include fighting, karate, machine guns, and car chases, but do not contain scenes of kissing or similar acts?

It is permissible for a Muslim to learn physical sports to strengthen the body, based on the Almighty's saying: (And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy), provided that the intention is self-defense, not harming others.

The learner must: 1. Fear Allah and lower his gaze. 2. Beware of films that violate morals and ethics. 3. Beware of acquiring violence and cruelty from these games. 4. Avoid forbidden things associated with these films, such as the presence of women or music.
