Is weaning during the sacred months unlawful according to Sharia? Is weaning a 1-year and 5-month-old girl permissible or unlawful? And is it obligatory to complete two years of breastfeeding?

It is permissible to wean an infant before the completion of two years, and at any month, based on the Almighty's saying: "And if they both desire weaning by mutual consent and consultation, there is no blame upon them." This indicates that breastfeeding for two full years is not obligatory. There is no objection to weaning during the sacred months or any other months. The sacred months are: Dhul-Qa'dah, Dhul-Hijjah, Muharram, and Rajab.
