Is the fact that my situation has not changed after Umrah and that my marriage is delayed a sign of Allah's wrath, and is it due to my working in contracting and mingling with men?

Acts of obedience, such as Hajj and Umrah, may ease affairs and ward off afflictions. Allah may delay the response to a supplication due to wisdom, which includes seeing the servant's humility and prayer. The delay in marriage is not necessarily a punishment; rather, it could be a trial, or due to natural or unnatural reasons such as magic. One should search for these reasons and remove them. You should not be concerned with society's blame. You must be patient and supplicate. It is permissible to seek help from female friends and politely propose marriage, for marriage is a provision. Your work in contracting is not a sin as long as it does not involve unlawful intermingling.
