Is it permissible for a husband to frequently curse and insult his wife and children, and to constantly remind them of his favors, and to consider them his enemies?

Cursing, reviling, and insulting are forbidden, especially when directed at one's parents and children.

Providing for one's wife and children is obligatory, and the provider should seek reward from Allah and beware of reminding others of his generosity, which invalidates good deeds, for Allah Almighty says: {O you who have believed, do not invalidate your charities with reminders [of your generosity] or [other] injury.}
