Is the wife's choice to keep her fetus, against her husband's desire not to have children, correct in Islam? And is the divorce that the husband threatened after the birth valid if it is under the wife's old name, knowing that the marriage took place with this name? And is it permissible for the husband to ask his wife to tell their future child of his death if the child asks about him?

The husband made a grave mistake by thinking of getting rid of his son, for Allah has undertaken the provision of creation: "And there is no creature on earth but that upon Allah is its provision." (11:6) And He has forbidden killing children for fear of poverty: "And do not kill your children for fear of poverty." (17:31) The wife must preserve her fetus and not obey her husband in this matter. As for the name, the general rule is that names remain unless they carry a legally forbidden meaning, such as servitude to other than Allah or a bad social connotation. If the husband divorces his wife, the divorce takes effect if he intended it.
