When a woman leaves her home, she must adhere to the Islamic guidelines for dress. The most important of these is that her clothing must cover her entire body, not be an adornment in itself, not be transparent, be loose and not tight, not be perfumed, not resemble the clothing of men or disbelieving women, and not be a garment of fame. If these conditions are met, then there is no blame upon her for not wearing black trousers or for replacing them with socks.
