The answer

The school prayer room (musalla) has the same ruling as a mosque, so it is not permissible for a menstruating woman to remain in it, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "I do not permit the mosque for a menstruating woman or a person in a state of major ritual impurity (junub)." Furthermore, the Prophet (peace be upon him) commanded menstruating women to avoid the Eid prayer ground, and the school prayer room, where prayers are regularly performed, falls under this ruling even more so.
