Is it permissible to divide the women's prayer area with a curtain into two sections: one for prayer and the other for menstruating women who wish to listen to the sermon and lessons?

If the prayer area (musalla) is not designated as a وقف (waqf) for prayer, then it does not take on the rulings of a mosque. A menstruating woman is permitted to enter it and stay there to listen to lessons and sermons, and there is no need to divide it into two sections. However, if the prayer area was originally a mosque, then a menstruating woman is not permitted to stay in it, and dividing it with a curtain or a wall does not change the ruling.
