Is it permissible for a woman to remove excess facial hair, such as hair above the upper lip, given that it is not permissible for her to pluck her eyebrows?

It is not permissible to remove hair from the eyebrows because it is considered namṣ (plucking) which is cursed, and it is a change in Allah's creation. As for removing hair between the eyebrows and hair from the rest of the body, it is permissible because there is no evidence to prevent it, and because a woman is required to adorn herself for her husband.
