It is permissible for a woman to be treated by a male doctor if female doctors are unavailable, and in the presence of a mahram. It is also permissible to expose the affected area to the extent of the necessity. As for sorcery, it is forbidden for her to go to sorcerers and charlatans. The best solution is Ruqyah Shar'iyyah by reciting the Qur'an, such as Al-Fatiha, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Mu'awwidhatayn, and verses that invalidate magic. She should also fortify herself with adhkar (remembrances of Allah) and maintain ritual purity (wudu'). Specific verses can be recited over water and olive oil, then the water can be drunk and the body massaged with the oil, while believing that healing is in the hands of Allah. It is not permissible to seek the help of Muslim jinn for treatment. It must be understood that healing is solely in the hands of Allah, and these individuals are merely a means.
