Is it permissible to collectively recite the Qur’an—without considering it an act of worship—for the purpose of repetition and familiarization to aid in memorizing the Holy Qur’an?

Some scholars disliked reading the Quran in congregation if everyone read at the same time, due to the possibility of error and not noticing it. The dislike is removed if the recitation is free from these pitfalls and is for the purpose of learning or solidifying memorization, and the like. Therefore, there is no objection to your reading with some of the memorizers to learn from them, provided the recitation is free from harms.
