Does the torment of the grave continue until the Day of Resurrection, or for a specific period, after which the torment will be on the Day of Resurrection?

The torment of the grave is not exclusive to disbelievers and hypocrites; rather, it includes some believers based on their deeds, such as those who do not shield themselves from urine [splashes], or who engage in backbiting, or who embezzle from war spoils. This torment due to the grave might be averted from a deserving believer for reasons such as repentance, expiating good deeds, atoning calamities, intercession, or Allah's forgiveness through His mercy.
