What is the ruling on one who suffers from urinary incontinence when sitting after relieving oneself? Are the tissues placed after relieving oneself sufficient to prevent the soiling of clothes? Is he required to perform ablution for every prayer in this case? Is it permissible to keep soiled tissues during sleep after performing ablution and prayer? What is the ruling on one who finds it difficult to cleanse the urinary tract of madhy (pre-seminal fluid) and semen after a wet dream? Is it permissible for him to suffice with urinating once and relying on Allah? Is it permissible for a son to lead his father, who suffers from forgetfulness due to a stroke, in prayer?

If urine only flows when sitting and stops within a specific time, then the person is not considered to have incontinence. In this case, he can lead his father and others in prayer. Using tissues to remove urine drops after urinating is sufficient as long as he is certain that no more urine will be released. As for cleaning the urethra from madhi (pre-seminal fluid) and mani (seminal fluid), this is not required by Sharia. It is sufficient to purify the exit point after the discharge stops. Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned that urine naturally ceases, and that attempting to expel it by squeezing the penis may lead to more discharge or obsessive thoughts, and that urine remaining at the tip of the urethra does not need to be expelled.
