What is the reason for the Qur'an's frequent mention of the Children of Israel, and what is its relevance to the call to Islam during the Prophet's era and in the present age?

What can be learned from the Quran's frequent mention of the Children of Israel and its relevance to Da'wah (inviting to Islam):

1. Guidance to Follow the Prophets: Patience in Da'wah and dealing with people, as Almighty Allah says: "He has ordained for you of religion what He enjoined upon Noah and that which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what We enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus - to establish the religion and not be divided therein."

2. Learning from Their Conduct: For Allah favored them and gave them power, but they neglected and erred, so Allah struck them with humiliation. And this Ummah (Muslim community) is a successor after them, under scrutiny, and if it follows the path of those who incurred wrath, it will be punished.

3. Understanding Their Nature: The nature of the Children of Israel has been consistent throughout most times, and the Quran criticized the Jews of the Prophet's era (peace be upon him) with the faults of their ancestors. Therefore, those who bear the banner of religion must gain deep understanding of the Quran and the Sirah (Prophet's biography) to know their characteristics and deal with them, and with all communities, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) dealt with them, in adherence to the revealed revelation. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Even if Muhammad (peace be upon him) has died, Allah Almighty has placed among you a light by which you are guided, by what Allah guided Muhammad (peace be upon him)." And in another narration: "And this Book by which Allah guided your Messenger, so take hold of it and you will be guided as Allah guided His Messenger."
