The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: [I did not think that Umar would dare to kill a believer.] Then Allah Almighty revealed: {But no, by your Lord, they will not believe until they make you judge in what has occurred between them}. And did Allah absolve Umar from his killing?"
